Dr. Siwiec has 23 years of experience diagnosing and treating patients almost exclusively on his own. Any Chiropractor who has been treating patients for 20 years would tell you that they are a much better doctor than they were 5 years ago, and extremely better than they were 15 years ago. This means better at diagnosing, treating, and adjusting for multiple conditions. Dr. Siwiec takes pride in figuring out the root cause of a patient’s specific problem and giving the best possible treatment to get a patient better as quickly as possible.
If you go to a large Chiropractic office, you may be seeing different doctors every visit. These doctors may be experienced or may be just out of Chiropractic school. You may also see a Chiropractor who is more of a businessperson than a healer. They may spend more time trying to convince you to come in 3 times a week for an extended period of time than they do treating your problems. You may be in and out of the office in 5 minutes and think they are doing all they can for you.
At Siwiec Chiropractic, our typical office visit lasts about 30 minutes. We usually apply Heat and Electric Muscle Stimulation to affected muscles to relax the area before we work on it. Then we typically utilize therapies such as Ultrasound, Therapeutic Laser, and Deep Tissue Massage if they are beneficial to your specific condition. These therapies performed before an adjustment will relax muscles and allow for a much easier and safer adjustment. After the treatment, you will most likely be given specific stretches, exercises, or recommendations to perform on your own at home.
We may recommend follow-up visits but we will never pressure you to commit to a certain amount of visits and never ask you to pay for anything in advance. If you don’t have insurance or you have a very high deductible or copay, you will be given the option of a very reasonable self-pay fee.
